week lite

So one class Monday, one class Tuesday, and one class today. Snow.

Got the quick car wash today since it was warmish and sunny. I figure even with the coming weather it was probably a good idea. I came out to the parking lot today and my car was just so crusted with ice melt that it looked white.

I didn't have any real ice problems until today. Coming back from class and stocking up, I got stuck turning onto the road to get to the parking lot. I couldn't go forward or backwards. Luckily three very nice, wonderful people helped me out. I was ready to have a panic attack. A few minutes later I think another car got stuck worse than I did. I mean the spot looked sketchy but it's been looking sketchy and there haven't been any problems.

So shopping - I stocked up because the weather's supposed to be bad starting Friday. I got a little crazy. I found a peach, pineapple chipotle salsa. I figure it'll probably be sweet with a kick. I'm thinking of making the Bisquick salsa chicken recipe with it and using mozzarella instead of cheddar. Figure it'll be either really good or really bad. I also found some refried beans. I like them when I'm out so I figured I'd try 'em. For the most part, I LOVE AMY'S brand. I tried their tomatoe bisque today. I liked it. It had tomatoe chunks and I liked it. That's saying a lot. Oh, and since you can't speak of tomatoe soup without mentioning grilled cheese, I was horrified when the store didn't have the Pepperidge Farm sourdough. That stuff makes a great grilled cheese.

I'm getting a little sick of getting snow off my car. And that leads to a mini-rant. Me in my crap ankle manage to get all the snow off the top of my car, the lights, and all the windows. Idiots driving around can't be bothered to clear their rear windows. They leave tons of snow on their roofs. It's bad enough that it falls and blocks their view, but when it flies off on the highway and slams into my car, I get upset. Idiots.
